Yield Management
Yield management allows you to limit the number of bookings or covers that can booked for each time-slot or interval. It helps relieve the pressure on your staff and chefs during specific periods, allowing you to regulate the movement of guests in and out of the restaurant. Yield Management ensures that you can confidently book a maximum number of customers without compromising the quality of your service.
Maximum Covers per Interval
The “Maximum Covers per Interval” rule is a feature that establishes a limit on the maximum number of guests or covers allowed to be booked within a specific time slot for a reservation.

After signing in to the Back Office select >Settings > Tables and then select Services and a list of the current services are displayed.

To edit the settings of a Service click the ‘Edit’ (pencil icon) beside the required Service.

Navigate to the Rules section.

To create a new Rule select the +Add Rule button.

Select Enabled so that this rule will apply

Enter the Description for this rule

Choose Max covers per Interval from the Type drop down menu.

Enter the Trigger Covers as the maximum allowable number of covers per Interval.
Note: Slot Interval times are set in the main edit section for a Service.
Note: The maximum covers per interval rules apply exclusively to the online widget, users have the flexibility to override this limit at their discretion when making reservations on the point-of-sale.

Choose a Time Profile when this rule applies.

After adding the Rules select the ‘Save’ button to save the Service.

Select ‘Update Tills’ from the main screen and ‘Send Changes’ to apply the Rules to the reservations widget.
