Pay360 Education Payments (formerly SIMS Pay) Integration

Introduction

Tapa features a practically seamless integration with the Pay360 Education Payments system formerly known as SIMS Pay from ESS.

This integration provides a two-way sync for incoming parent payments to student accounts within Tapa. Likewise, all adjustments and monies spent from accounts in Tapa are uploaded to Pay360 Education Payments keeping the two systems in sync with each other.

Configuration

Configuration of this integration must be completed upon the advice of an RST Support Engineer as manual steps are required on our end to setup the necessary processes.

There are two parts to the integration:

• Synchronisation between Tapa and Pay360 Education Payments (automated)
• Student and Staff information updated from SIMS on premise (manual)

How it works

• The integration syncronises both ways every 20 minutes
• Payments, refunds and adjustments are pulled from Pay360 Education Payments and processed into Tapa student accounts
• Transactions, meal products and adjustments are uploaded from Tapa to Pay360 Education Payments
