Tapa integrates with Hikvision NVR’s and cameras. This allows a text overlay on the video stream showing what the user of the POS is currently doing.
You can link each POS terminal to a video stream either through the NVR or directly with each relevant camera.
Tapa can operate in two modes:
Server Mode
In server mode the NVR or camera can connect to the Tapa POS terminal port and listen for the overlay text.
Client Mode
In client mode Tapa POS will connect to the NVR port or camera and send text to overlay on the video stream.
The options can be accessed from Settings > Hardware > CCTV
We cannot support or install this integration on the security hardware side however we can offer advise to an installer. Please check with your security provider to ensure this integration is possible.

Connection: TCP
This integration should be compatible with other hardware manufacturers provided they provide similar functionality. Please consult your security provider for advise.
