Opening a table on the POS

Opening the table Plan

  1. Sign on to the POS Terminal using your code button or usual sign on method.
  2. There are two ways to open the plan table if you have a Table button as a pinned function then simply press this. Alternatively select Function and then select Tables from the function menu.
  3. The last table plan viewed is then displayed.
  4. To select a different Table area, click on the table area name and select it from the drop-down menu.

Functionality of the Table Plan.

  • Dark Grey shows that a table has not been open yet.
  • Light Green shows that a table has been seated but no items have been ordered.
  • Yellow means that a Drink order has been taken but no food has been entered yet.
  • Orange indicates a Starter order has been taken but as yet no Main course has been entered.
  • Dark Green shows that a table has had its main course ordered.
  • Red indicates that a table is on the Dessert Course.
  • The table will also display the number of covers on the top right of the table button and the time the table was seated in the middle of the table button.

    • If linked to resdiary table reservation the guest name and expected departure time will display on the table button and if the table.

Opening a new table

  1. To open a new table, select a free table and simply press the table button.

  2. Enter the number of covers or guests seated at the table and select Enter.

  3. The table is then opened and you can order the items required. When finished press Send on the pinned function or Simply log off to send the order to the prep printers or kitchen screen.
