Price Models

A price model will determine the structure and method for determining prices. Before you create price models you must create the sales unit and VAT rate. Price models need to be attached to products. This will set the VAT rate for the Products and the time profile if required.

When setting up the price model you will consider the products you are selling and the sale unit they have. For example, when selling pints from a keg, the sales unit will be pints not each as pints are sold as a measurement, this is the same for wine as it can be sold as a glass or a bottle. Compared to a bottle of coke that is sold as one unit not a measurement.
