Groups are the main reporting category within the system and are at the top of the reporting hierarchy above Departments and Products.
To add a New Group:
Click the New Group button.
By default, the reference is populated with the next available in sequence, to overwrite this type the reference required into the Reference input box.
Enter the group’s description into the description box.

Example: A group is the highest level of organisation used for reporting, Groups have Departments linked to them.For example, if your group was Food,your department might be Starter, Mains, Desserts etc.
