Example
One Lookup Group
If designed properly Lookup Menus allow users to sell fast selling products without having to search and without too many key presses. In a fast selling environment, the default lookup menu should contain the majority of products sold, similar items can be grouped together and colour coded so that they can be sold quickly.
The Example below is a bar screen , the beers, soft drinks and mixers, spirits red wine and white wine all have different colours to identify them. This is one lookup group with multiple menus. These can be separated if you wish to different look up groups. Laying the bar screen out using this method makes it more efficient and faster for the user.
