The Customers module of Tapa POS enables you to manage your accounts receivable and in-house charging. This section allows you to maintain a complete customer file, generate statements and perform account adjustments.
First You must set up the groups you wish to have in the module of customers.
Customer Groups
Customers can be assigned to Groups; these groups define the default settings for any customers added to that group. e.g. Expiry date, Credit or Debit limits etc.
To add a Customer Group:
Select Groups.
Click the New Group button.
Enter the name of the Customer Group into the Description box.
Select the settings required:
Price Model- When an account in this group is selected the price at which products will be sold.
Expiry Date- When an account in this group can no longer be used after
Credit Limit- The maximum amount that can be charged to an account in the group.
Debit Limit- The maximum amount that can be added to an account in this group.
Time Profile- When this account can be used.
Loyalty- Customers inherit the loyalty option.
