GiftCard Templates

Gift vouchers are fully integrated with Tapa,when a voucher is bought and paid for it is automatically created in Tapa back office, and vouchers emailed to recipients, no need to add to till, print out or post.

Gift vouchers can be redeemed on the point-of-sale (by code or 3D barcode scanner), through iWantFed or using the Table Ordering app (there is an option for voucher code). A voucher’s balance goes down if not fully spent and can be used multiple times

Multiple vouchers can be purchased in one transaction for multiple friends etc. Vouchers can be pre-set amounts e.g., £20, £50, £100 or Open amounts with a minimum and maximum value. Vouchers can be emailed immediately or you can choose a date and the voucher will be sent at 9 am on that day.

Adding a New Template.

  1. Select ‘Gift Card’, ‘Templates’. Next select ‘+NewTemplate’.

  2. The reference number is automatically generated.

  3. Enter the ‘Description’, this is the name of the voucher that will be shown online, (GiveaVoucher) e.g £20 Gift Voucher.

  4. Enter the ‘Description Detail’, this will be displayed under the description online. This can be a brief explanation of how the voucher can be used. e.g £20 Gift voucher available to redeem in-store, on the At Table Ordering app or for Delivery or Collection. Valid for 6 months

  5. Select ‘Next’.

  1. On the edit template form, fill out the:

    • The ‘Category’ - This will be used when displaying and will have been previously set up.
    • Enter an Image
    • Enter the Expiry Month(s) - This is how long the voucher will be valid for.
    • Select Open Value - This will allow a customer to enter the amount of the voucher.
    • Enter a value - This will be controlled voucher values that customers can purchase.

Editing and Deleting a Template

  1. From the action column choose the ‘pencil icon’ to edit and the ‘bin icon’ to delete.

  2. If the pencil icon is selected, on the edit form, make the required changes and select save.
