Creating Time Slots for Tapa Ordering

Time Slots will create an allotted number of orders to be made during a time period. This will be the opening and closing time for Collection and Delivery.

Time slots need to be set up for both delivery and collection. For each day in the Week different timeslots can be added. This will limit the volume of orders your store will receive in a night. If you would not like timeslots restraining customer orders, we still recommend you set them up and set the Max order to 0, this is a limitless number of orders.

Setting up Time Slots.

  1. On the Navigation Menu, find Ordering and select Settings.

  2. When in setting scroll to Time Slots.

  1. Choose your Start and End Time, the time your store starts delivering orders and the time the store stops delivering orders. Click on the box, scroll and press the time you wish to select

  2. Enter the interval minutes you would like between each timeslot. For example, if you would like 6 orders every half an hour then your interval minutes will be 30. You can manually enter the number or use the plus and minus signs on the box.

  3. Enter the Max orders you would like

  1. From the drop-down menu chose select the date, you can choose induvial days or the whole week.

  2. Press Generate Slots for your time slots to be created.

  1. Shown on the right are the time slots created.

  2. You can view the time slots, change the max orders and delete.

  3. For slower periods you can add more time slots, on the max order column in the text box enter the new number of time slots.

  1. Repeat this process for Collection. Filling out the information using the relevant data. For example, you may allow for more collection orders, if this is the case change the max orders and the interval minutes.

Example- Time slots for Stores open past Midnight.

If you store open hours are past midnight, for example 4pm – 3am. Then you need to set your time slots for 24 hours every time. The time slots within the opening and closing times set on the time profile for collection and delivery will be shown.

You do not need to delete the extra timeslots. These will not be acknowledged if they are not within the time profile selected.

Below is an example of how the Time slot Generator will look.
