Reasons

Reasons are set up for a cause, explanation or justification for an action. For example, reasons can be used when items are voided from the till. Tot explain the cause of the void. This is help to keep track of voided items.

Creating a new Reason.

  1. The reference number is automatically generated, we would recommend not changing this.

  2. Next Select a type: This is what the reason will be applied to. There is refund, void, no sale, pay in/out and promotion.

  3. For the example we will do void.

  4. Next enter the reason- For example User Mistake. (this can be your own wording)

  5. You can select a keyboard answer- this will allow the user to enter the reason using the keyboard.

  6. To finish select Save.
