Sale Messages

Sale Messages are messages to inform the kitchen of any changes that need to be made to the order. For example, a sale message would be used to inform the kitchen on how a steak should be cooked for the customer.

Creating a new Sale Message

1. Firstly, Select the +New Messages Menu.

2. The reference number is automatically generated, we would recommend not changing this.

3. Enter the Description, this will be the Message.

4. If the message requires a typed answer, you need to select the allow Keyboard option

5. If the message has a required answer then you need to select the Required option.

6. Click Next

   

7. The options field is where the answers to the message will be added.

8. Click +Add Option to add a field.

9. Type the response you would like under the field message.

10. To rearrange the order of the responses you drag and drop them.

    

Example- How to Cook

This example can be used when a product requires options to choose from. For the example we will use a steak as it can be cooked to preference.
