SIMS Accounts Sync

About

Tapa integrates with ESS SIMS to sync student, parent and staff information from SIMS MIS directly into Tapa in an automated process.

This allows students and staff to make purchases in the school canteen using their school identity and additionally connects with parents through the school top-up app to allow them to lodge funds into their student accounts.

Student and staff entities are translated into Customers in Tapa allowing them to be called up on the Tapa Point of Sale software in the canteen.

Parent information is collected to allow parents access to the Top-up app provided by Tapa and ensure they are mapped to the correct students to allow top-up of the student meal money.

The system uses Tapa Membership to provide the customer functionality.

Installation

Installation of the Sync Service is fairly straight forward - our software is installed on a suitable PC or Member Server (where available) at the school. We can complete this for you and only takes a few minutes.

Installation documentation is available on request from the Development team at RST.
