Splitting the Table into Covers
There are two ways to assign covers to a table. First you can use the Assign Covers button on the Table Plan.
Alternatively, you can press the Covers icon on the transaction grid.
Press the Assign Covers button and then select the table you want to split by guest.
The Covers Assign Screen will display, on the left are the items shared on the table and on the right are the covers.
Choose the cover the correct cover from the drop-down menu on the right.
Select a single product or multiple products and using the arrows you can assign the products to this cover.
Select the next cover and repeat the process for transferring items.
Once the products have been assigned covers, press the close button.
The video below shows how to split the table into covers. If the customer would like to pay separately this is a good way of separating the items into covers so the customer can pay the bill individually and get their own receipts. Guest orders can also be also be assigned to each cover during the transaction
