Table Joins

Table Joins allow multiple tables to be connected to accommodate larger group of guests. When a reservation request is received for a larger group, the reservation system checks the availability of appropriately sized tables and if not available suggests a combination of tables that can accommodate the requested party size.

Table joins are setup in Table Areas refer the sections within a restaurant or hospitality establishment where tables are organized and managed.


Creating a New Table Join

  1. After signing in to the Back Office select >Settings > Tables and then select Table Areas and a list of the current Table Areas are displayed.

  2. To edit the settings of a Table Area click the ‘Edit’ icon beside the required area.

  3. Navigate to the Table Joins section

  1. To join multiple tables select the Tables to be joined from the drop down

  2. Enter the number of Covers that these joined tables can accommodate

  3. Select the ‘Save’ button to save changes.

  4. After adding the Table Joins select the ‘Save’ button to save the Table Areas.

  5. Select ‘Update Tills’ from the main screen and ‘Send Changes’ to apply the Joins to the reservations widget.

Note: The widget browser must be refreshed to view the changes. Please allow up to two minutes for any changes to apply.
