Service Packages & Extras

Service Packages refer to bundled offerings or set combinations of menu items, services, or special menus that restaurants create for specific Service periods. Service Packages can allow the creation of fixed-priced menus, off-peak menus and special occasion menus. These packages streamline the reservation process by prompting customers with predefined choices. Services can be configured so that a Package must be selected and Packages can be prepaid, part paid or zero priced with payment can be taken in the form of a Deposit.

Extras are supplementary items or services that can be offered alongside a primary Package, providing an opportunity for up-selling. For instance, if a restaurant offers a special occasion menu as a package, extras could include premium wine pairings or a glass of champagne on arrival.

Upon guests being seated using their reservation, the system automatically records the associated package and extras against their table on the point-of-sale. Additionally, any flagged products are automatically sent for printing, streamlining the process and ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment.

Note: Service Packages are applied to all guests within a booking, Extras can be selected per guest.
