Ordering Settings

From the navigation under Ordering > Settings you can configure your online ordering settings. Most settings are fairly self explanitory - trickier ones are explained below:

Delivery and Collection settings explained:

  • Delivery Product - used to charge customers for delivery matching up with a delivery area.
  • Price Model - Can be used to offer different pricing for online vs instore, see price models.
  • Buffer - The default amount of time needed to prepare an order, people cannot order sooner than this period.

General settings explained:

  • Use Time Slots - With this setting enabled you can configure specific intervals at which people can order for. With this setting disabled you can accept orders from the POS or Order Terminal in store and choose at that point how long the order will take.
  • Pre-Order Mode - see pre-order settings article for more info
  • Menu Style - “Linear” suits a text based top-down menu, “Visual” suits a more graphical grid based menu
  • Tender - select which tender will be used to record the online payment at the POS terminal

Menus

From the navigation under Ordering > Menus you can create menus from your existing products and organise them into groups for your online menu - learn more on the online menus article

Delivery Areas

From the navigation under Ordering > Delivery Areas you can draw your delivery areas onto a map based around your branch. Delivery areas use your delivery product from the Ordering Settings page along with the prices of that product to set against specific areas. Learn more about delivery areas
